Common Core State Standards
Response to Intervention addresses the needs of students through the use of Common Core State Standards. To help struggling readers I was able to use the following standards as a guide for instruction. Implementation of the standards was completed during our time spent working with the Wolfpack Readers Program. The skills acquired were transitioned into my daily use within my classroom.

RF1.2: Demonstrate understanding of spoken words, syllables, and sounds (phonemes).
RF.1.4: Read with sufficient accuracy and fluency to support comprehension.
